Executive Biography

Michael R. Halbig, President

Michael Halbig's 34 year professional career in engineering and information technology consulting included the foundation of InGen Technologies, Inc. in 1983.
InGen is a service organization providing strategic leadership and management mentoring services aligned with mobile and enterprise technology tools for execution accountability. InGen assists business leaders in strategic planning, execution and measurement of their process and project operations through technology.

Michael received his B.S degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1980 from the University of Evansville with continuing studies in Electrical Engineering.
Pursuant to his service in the Project Engineering department of a Fortune 100 Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturing company, he decided to engage his entrepreneurial pursuits at the age of 26.

In 1983, Michael formed an engineering consulting firm to design, develop and deploy advanced hardware/software technologies for process manufacturing automation systems in numerous industries such as pharmaceutical, plastics, metals, utilities, construction and retail.

Today, InGen Technologies is a transformation of 30+ years of consulting, design and development experience that is devoted to strategy and execution devlopment with the provision of intelligent software technology solutions to measure the performance of strategic execution activities.

Michael is a registered Project Management Professional PMP® practitioner with the globally recognized Project Management Institute PMI®. Starting his business at a youthful age, Michael has a passion for "connecting" influential business, government and academic leaders to the young aspiring and creative minds of the succeeding generations within the community.

Michael is an authorized facilitator for peer roundtable groups that serve executives, business owners and "high capacity" emerging young professionals.
Offerings include the Edward Lowe Foundation “PeerSpectives®” Roundtable System for Stage 2 growth companies and “Truth@Work®” faith-based roundtables for corporations, executives, small business owners and young emerging leaders in physical and virtual environments.

Michael is a member of the Southwest Indiana Capital Fund Group that is devoted to providing financial counseling and capital for the revival and reversal of "brain drain" in southwestern Indiana communities.

Michael's personal passion is to glorify God by serving those who have been placed in his sphere of influence.
His desire is to be an agent of transforming change within the marketplace by connecting generations of thought leaders, innovators and influencers.
Michael is an active community participant and board member that provides retreat weekends for the encouragement of adults, high school and college age youth.
